Guardian Home Information

Being a guardian family for a dog can be an excellent way to have a top quality dog for a family pet without all the expense. Our guardian home dogs do not cost any money. Just love and attention.

We believe every dog deserves a loving forever family that they can call their own.  We are not a kennel breeder as dogs raised in kennels do not get the socialization and stimulation that is needed to be a well-balanced happy dog. Because we believe that a family life is of utmost importance, our Guardian Homes have become an important part of our program and it benefits everyone involved, the dog, the breeder and the forever family.

Our Guardian Home Program allows for local families to have a breeder's “Pick of the Litter” puppy. These pups live with you as your family dog while we retain breeding rights for the dog. The puppies either can be whelped at your home and raised by you their loving family for a $5000 stipend per litter or we can whelp and raise the litter. We prefer families that choose to whelp and raise their own puppies as momma is always more comfortable and happy in her own home. We provide all the necessary vet care and supplies (i.e. whelping boxes, food, heaters, whelping pads etc). We have detailed videos and instruction for puppy whelping, care and raising. Someone is always available 24 hours a day to answer questions and guide our guardian homes thru the puppy delivering and raising process. Our delivery nannies come right to your home and pick up the puppies at 8 weeks old to take them to their new loving families.

What this means for you and your guardian home labradoodle or bernedoodle is that they have approximately 3 litters in less than 6 years and then we will pay the cost to have your guardian dog spayed or neutered. You will have the joy of raising a few litters of puppies with your guardian home dog and also make a side income. Your guardian home dog will live with you forever and be a loving part of your family.

Your pick of the litter labradoodle or bernedoodle is your family pet, your forever companion. We here at High Country Labradoodles and New England Bernedoodles simply retain breeding rights and she may have a litter or she may not depending on the needs of our breeding program that year.
